Froch tipping Booth to bring IBF belt to Nottingham

Carl Froch is backing Jason Booth to give Nottingham another world champion next month.
Booth, 35-5 (15), challenges Canada's Steve Molitor, 32-1 (12), for the IBF super-bantamweight title at Rainton Meadows Arena, Houghton-le-Spring, on Saturday, September 11.
Froch, who lost his WBC super-middleweight crown to Mikkel Kessler in April, is currently preparing for his October 2 showdown with Arthur Abraham in the Super Six Tournament.
'The Cobra' believes that he and recovering alchoholic Booth will score a big East Midlands double.
The former world champion said: "Jason and i go way back.
"I have known Jason since we were kids fighting as amateurs - and we even boxed each other when were about 11.
"His story is one you couldn't make up and to see him back, doing himself and Nottingham proud is fantastic."
Sharp, skilfull Molitor has already beaten Booth's younger brother, ex-British champion Nicky, and in his first reign as IBF world boss beat-up Michael Hunter in five one-sided rounds in Hartlepool three years ago.
And Froch added: "Molitor is a world-class operator, as his record proves.
"But i think if Jason can overcome what he's already done in life, he can upset Molitor.
"Booth is in the form of his life and this chance has come at the right time."
